Rail City Bistro fully opened in June of 2016, Rail City Bistro is a restaurant that prides itself on offering St. Thomas fresh, homemade cuisine featuring regions around the world, while sourcing as many local ingredients as possible. Every weekend we invite customers to “travel” with us, sampling dishes inspired by these locations, while still offering our fantastic menu. Our extremely high standards produce amazing scratch made sauces, dressings and dishes guaranteed to leave you wanting to come back for more. Jared brings over 9 years kitchen experience into Rail City Bistro. His natural palate has led him to create a fantastic menu of some of his favorite dishes. He has worked as a Sous Chef in various restaurants and developed a love, and taste for many types of cuisines while living in Toronto, Ontario. Having received his diploma with presidential honors in Business Marketing, Jared decided to combine his vast love of food with his business savvy to open Rail City Bistro.

Lindsay is the charm and heart of Rail City Bistro. Having spent 17 years in the hospitality industry, Lindsay utilizes her experience to bring the best service possible to diners. She has a degree from Westervelt College in Travel and Tourism and has visited numerous countries sampling the best in authentic cuisines. She hopes to bring other cultural backgrounds into St. Thomas, while wanting nothing but the best dining experience for our guests.
